Expert Privacy Notice

This notice is for experts who apply to Mereden, take an assessment, or work on projects. It explains, in plain terms, what we collect at each stage, who sees it, how AI is involved, and how to delete your data.

This notice adds detail to our Privacy Policy, which covers all users and contains the full legal terms, including your rights by country. If the two differ on something about experts, this notice applies. Mereden is a brand of Iknir Software Solutions Private Limited, 4th Floor, 648/A, Om Chambers, Binnamangal Main Road, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560038, India, which controls your personal data.

1. The short version

  • We collect what we need to verify you, match you to projects, and pay you.
  • AI labs see your profile only when you apply or are shortlisted for their project.
  • We never sell your data, and we do not use your resume or profile to train AI models.
  • The project work you are paid to create, such as questions, answers, and ratings, is delivered to the lab to train and test its AI. That is the job.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time.

2. What we collect at each stage

2.1 When you apply

  • Name, email, phone number, and LinkedIn URL
  • Resume or CV, education, qualifications, licences, and work history
  • Country, city, timezone, work authorisation, availability, expected rate, and domains of interest
  • The roles you apply for and anything you write in your application

2.2 During vetting

  • Your answers to assessments and qualification tasks, with timing and scores
  • Results of credential checks, for example confirming a degree, licence, or olympiad record against public registers or with the issuing body
  • Notes from our reviewers

2.3 While you work on projects

  • The work you submit, hours or tasks completed, quality reviews, and feedback
  • Messages with our team about the project

2.4 To pay you

  • UPI ID or bank account and IFSC for experts in India, or Wise details for experts elsewhere
  • PAN and other tax details where Indian law requires them
  • Payout history and invoices

We do not use webcam monitoring, screen recording, keystroke tracking, or biometric checks.

3. Who sees your data

  • Mereden reviewers and admins: to verify you, match you, review quality, and pay you. Access is limited to people who need it.
  • AI lab Clients: when you apply or are shortlisted for a project, the lab may see your name, qualifications, relevant experience, and assessment results. We share contact details only when needed for the project. Labs do not see your payout or tax details.
  • Service providers: companies that host our systems, send email, and process payouts, listed on our Security page. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities: only where the law requires, such as tax filings.

4. How AI is involved

  • Reading your resume: software extracts details from your resume to pre-fill your profile. You can edit anything it gets wrong.
  • Checking assessments: automated tools help check answers for accuracy and for copying. Our team reviews the results, and decisions to select or reject experts are made by people.
  • Project work: in evaluation projects, the questions and prompts you write are sent to AI models to test them. Your name, contact details, and resume are not sent with that content.
  • No training on your profile: we do not use your resume, profile, or assessment answers to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

5. How long we keep it

  • Profile and application data: while your account is active, and up to 3 years after your last activity so we can tell you about new roles, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Assessment results: as long as your profile, so you do not have to repeat them.
  • Payout, invoice, and tax records: 8 years, as Indian law requires.
  • Project work you were paid for belongs to Mereden or the Client and is kept under the project agreement.

6. Deleting your account and your other rights

To delete your account, email support@meredenai.com from the address on your account. We will confirm your identity and delete your profile, resume, and application data within 30 days. We will keep payout and tax records the law requires us to keep, and we cannot recall project work a Client has already received.

You can also ask for a copy of your data, correct it, restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, or ask for a human review of a decision. Most profile details can be updated directly on your Profile page. Full details of your rights by country are in our Privacy Policy.
