Pricing

Mereden charges companies and AI labs for expert evaluation, AI training data, and expert staffing. Joining and working as an expert is always free.

Prices in US dollars. Indian clients can be invoiced in Indian rupees, with GST added where it applies.

For companies and AI labs

1. Pilot project

Fixed price, quoted before you start. A small, scoped project, for example 50 to 150 expert-written evaluation questions with reference answers, or an expert review of a model on one domain. The scope and price are confirmed in writing before you pay.

2. Expert hours

Billed per expert hour. You pay the expert's hourly rate for the domain plus a Mereden service fee, quoted per project in your order form. Typical expert rates:

  • Medicine: US$100 to US$160 per hour
  • Law: US$90 to US$150 per hour
  • Finance, accounting, and company secretarial: US$80 to US$140 per hour
  • Coding, mathematics, physics, and chemistry: quoted by seniority and task
  • Psychology, social sciences, and culture: US$45 to US$100 per hour
  • Veterinary medicine: US$50 to US$80 per hour
  • Languages, agriculture, trades, robotics, and driving: US$35 to US$65 per hour

3. Managed project

Priced per task or per batch, quoted in a statement of work. For larger evaluation or data programmes, we agree a per-item or per-batch price, delivery schedule, and quality standard before work begins.

How payment works

  • Every order is confirmed in an order form, statement of work, or invoice that shows the full price before you pay.
  • Payment by card through Stripe, or by bank transfer against an invoice.
  • Pilots are paid in advance. Larger projects may be billed in milestones or monthly in arrears for hours used.
  • Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Delivery follows our Service Delivery Policy.

For experts

Experts never pay Mereden. There is no sign-up fee, vetting fee, or commission taken from your pay. Pay rates for each role are listed on the role page, and payouts are sent weekly for approved work.
