These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Mereden at meredenai.com and related services. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Mereden is
Mereden is a marketplace that helps match credential-verified experts with AI labs and research teams for paid evaluation, data work, and related projects. Mereden may review applications and profiles to operate matching and quality control.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
3. Accounts & Google Sign-In
You may create an account with email/password or sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you use Google Sign-In, you also remain subject to Google’s terms for your Google account. Keep your credentials secure and notify us of unauthorized use.
4. Expert conduct
- Provide truthful profile, credentials, and application information
- Do not misrepresent qualifications, identity, or work authorization
- Do not attempt to abuse, scrape, or disrupt Mereden systems
- Follow any project-specific confidentiality or quality rules you accept
5. Applications & opportunities
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, a contract, or payment. Mereden and partner labs may accept, reject, or pause opportunities at their discretion. Any paid work is subject to separate project terms communicated when you are onboarded.
6. Company / lab contacts
If you submit a company or hiring interest form, you confirm you are authorized to contact Mereden about that opportunity and that the information you provide is accurate.
7. Intellectual property
Mereden branding, site content, and software are owned by Mereden or its licensors. You retain rights to content you upload (such as your resume), and you grant Mereden a license to use it to operate the marketplace (matching, review, and related communications).
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data, including Google user data received from Google Sign-In.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific match outcomes, or that third-party partners will engage you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mereden is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service.
11. Termination
You may stop using Mereden at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, appear fraudulent, or create risk for users or partners. You may request account deletion via support@meredenai.com.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as Mereden grows. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
